Hey guys,
So i know its probably been asked a million times, but what do i need to do to fix the ram air situation when switching to the streetfight look. i have tried a few things, but to no avail. What has everyone done that has been as near as 100% fixed as possible. Thanks!!!

Late to the party, but mine runs fine with a dynojet kit in it and the pipes only run from the air box to the frame holes.

It’s funny but I also have issues... after REINSTALING the ram air. I put it back after I’d restored the fairlings and reversed from the naked.
The Cat does not run.
Well it does on the 1st and 2nd... But when it is 50 mph it suffocates.
A theory is the ram air provides too much air to the engine and the combustible mixture is too thin.
I think it’s right. I have removed the ram air temporarily (just wriggled the hoses out). The Cat is doing extremely well. 100 mph easy (could be faster but there are traffic lights too soon).
So my carbs must have been modified by a previous pilot who made him naked...
The question is what do I do? Replace the jets? What are the output face values?

JET, MAIN (#155) (3TJ-14943-38-00)
Two main jets are listed at
the catalogue. I realize it is not 2 per carb, it is either depending on the market. Do I get it right that
3TJ-14943-87-00 JET, MAIN (#148) | CA (5AHA)
is for the European market and
3TJ-14943-38-00 JET, MAIN (#155) | U49 (5AH9)
goes for the Americas?
Is this the right jet by dimensions?

Funny though. It turns out my main jets are exactly 155.
So, what the hell then? Why doesn’t it run faster than 100 mph?!
