Yep, the old bike is still running great...odometer currently shows 150806 miles. I haven't ridden it since mid-August (I've been busy riding the FJR), so I'm hoping to take the YZF out for some exercise in the next day or two.

Sweet!  Another FJR!!  Wink  BTW, Slug is catching you. He's at 140K on his.

It just seems like the logical progression from the YZF600R.  Are you on any of the FJR forums?

Yeah the FJR is just a fantastic touring machine. It's like Yamaha took the comfortable & versatile YZF600R and beefed it up with a bigger engine, shaft drive, bigger fairing and hard bags...presto, a mile-munching beast. I'm on the FJRForum and FJRriders pages. I read a lot on those forums but don't post very much.

Last week I got home from a 12 day/6600 mile trip on the FJR. I took it a bit further north and west than I usually go: Prince Rupert BC and then Hyder Alaska!

Buy the ticket, take the ride.

To fly west, my friend, is a flight we all must take for a final check.

I think you've got me beat.  Douglas said mine (now his) is at 124K.  I haven't verified, but I'm pretty sure that's what he said.
