it came up on facebook where someone had a leaking carb fuel cross tube, the black plastic T fittings for the fuel input. It reminded me that years ago I recorded footage of that repair and I got around to a quick edit and upload of it to my channel.
The audio is poor and didnt want to record a whole voice over, I amped it up as much as the software would let me. I think its serviceable but certainly not great.
Information, i bought orings from theoringstore.com
what i think the correct orings are: 1.2mm cross section 5mm ID and 1.2mm cross section 7mm ID, 75D (hardness) viton (material)
i couldnt get those in small quantities so I try a bunch of sizes in the video. From what was available at the time I settled on: 1.5mm cross section 4/4.5mm ID (both worked i forget what i went with) and 1.5mm cross section 6mm ID. these stretch out and did work. but if you could find the 1.2s that would be more ideal.
I have some other footage for how tos on swingarm removal/bearing replacement, steering head bearings and maybe some other stuff. perhaps i will finally edit those together too.
